Review Fade By: Lisa McMann

Fade (Dream Catcher, #2)Fade by Lisa McMann

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**Very tiny spoiler alert** Well... I just finished Fade the second book the Amazing Wake Series by Lisa McMann, and... I loved it. Haha sorry I think I probably start every book review with this but just let me say I mean it every time. So without further ado let's get into it. Now before I get actually into the book I want to talk about the cover for a few minutes. Can any of you tell me what the cover is supposed to be and what is symbolizes in the book? At the end I started thinking okay it's probably a glass of water and I connected it to Janie and Cabes current assignment (I wont tell you what it is! Trying to keep this spoiler free!) Anyways that's what I connected it to in the end. If I’m wrong and it something totally different please let me know!

Time for characters!!! Usually my favorite would be Cabe but he really disappointed me in the book close to the end and I’m still a little angry at him but he was sweet enough through out the whole book and sweet enough in the end that I still love him. But I haven't forgiven him just yet (You'll find out why if you read the book and if your impatient and you don't want to wait or if you've already read the book and you just want to talk about it just let me know in the comments.) So for the second book my favorite character is definitely Janie! She just held herself so well in this book and I really admire her for that I mean how many people can handle basically raising themselves because there single mom is a drunk and basically dead to the world. Plus she has to deal with her boyfriends crazy issues which affect there relationship. Then she starts working with detectives and working hard for them, while handling school. Also last but not least she has to worry about being a Dream Catcher and all of the side affects that come along with it. Now me personally? I probably would fall apart. How about you?

Hmm what else is there to talk about? I really can't talk about much without there being spoilers so let me just say this there's a little spoiler and I’m sorry! But what Cabe did after what happened at Dave the perv's party? REALLY?!? I mean I know he has his problems but I mean come on?! your girlfriend just went through hell and all she needs is you to hug her and tell her you love her and be there and you do what Cabe did? That's why I haven't forgiven him yet. Does anyone agree with me? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading!

The reason for my new blog name!

Hi guys so yeah i know this is long over due. But i don't have a post for today so i figured i'd fill today's slot and tell you guys why i chose Comfort Books for the new name of my blog. The reason why i chose this name is because books actually do comfort me. You know if people need comforting they go to a friend boyfriend or food. But me?  I go to a book. Why do i do that you ask? Well because a book always has there own problems no matter what they always do, so i'd much rather worry about the books problems then my problems! Now i know that might sound like i'm being a whimp and not facing my problems but i mean come on everybody needs a break from there problems right? About a month ago my boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me and instead of eating or leaning on friends i read a couple books and got all my frustrations out. I have to say it actually worked pretty well for me. It's been a month and now i know that he wasn't right and it's good that he's gone. I'm sort of glad everything happened the way it did because i got an amazing new guy out of it =) and i read some freaking amazing books! lol i know weird but that's how my brain works! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read this post! If you have any thoughts or your own ways to comfort yourself or anything like that be sure to comment below!!

Review Matched By: Ally Condie

Matched (Matched, #1)Matched by Ally Condie

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**Little Spoiler Alert** Hmm what did I think of Matched? Well for starters this was I think my third Dystopian novel and I loved it!!! The characters were great I loved there personalities and everything like that. If I had to pick my favorite character I would have to say it's Ky even though I don't want him to be with Cassia. (We'll get into that in a minute) Ky is my favorite character because he's so mysterious and I don't really understand him all that well. I find that if I don't understand a character that it draws me to them more because I want to find out more about them. So with Ky you don't really know why he is what he is and you don't really know what happens to his parents other then that they died that part is obvious. I'm hoping to find out more about him in the next book.

Now for the plot, in my In My Mailbox video I said that I thought this was going to be somewhat like Delirium. Yeah I was dead wrong! It was nothing like Delirium which I’m glad about because I really didn't like the ending, which I wont talk about that now go see my review for Delirium if you want to hear about that! Anyways even though I think I rated this one lower I still think it's a way better book then Delirium. I like that Cassia actually as a family and that there aloud to show emotion without being worried that there going to fall in love or be taken away.

My overall favorite part of this book was when Cassia got matched with Xander. I was so excited because she was matched with her best guy friend, which is basically a lot of peoples reality right? You grow up with your childhood guy friend and when you start to get older you start having feelings for them? I think that's how it was for Cassia and Xander that's why I was so excited when they were matched. The one thing that frustrated me about this book was that Cassia falls for Ky (I know SPOILER! but I had to forgive me?) Anyways I was a bit upset because I really believed that her and Xander would be the happiest couple in the world! But then Ky comes along and now Cassia's in love with him. I know there had to be some sort of conflict but part of me wishes it wasn't that. Does anyone else feel the same way? How bout does anyone else feel really bad for Xander? I know I feel really bad for him he seemed so in love with her know he finds out she loves someone else?! That would totally break me! I hope Xander still has a part in the next book! Thanks for reading the review leave comments and links and all that crazy stuff down below! I love everyone who reads and leaves a comment lol!

Review The Iron King By: Julie Kagawa

The Iron King (Iron Fey, #1)The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just finished reading my second full on fantasy, and *Drum Roll* I LOVED IT!!!! I actually won this blog from a giveaway about a month back and I was so excited when I got it to started reading it. It's about a girl named Meghan Chase who get's her brother stolen and then she and her magical best friend have to go rescue him and along the way she finds out a lot about herself. I just thought I give a little bit of what it was about in case you didn't know.

Anyways my favorite part of the book had to be when Meghan looked at herself and realized that she was half them. She had the ears and stuff. It was my favorite part because she started realizing that this was most likely going to be apart of her life now whether she wanted it or not. At first I thought that Oberon was going to be the dad that disappeared. I mean I thought she was going to be like oh my god dad! I haven't seen you in years but it wasn't and I won't tell you why! I'm trying to cut back as best as I can on the spoilers even though I’m pretty sure everybody has already read this book!

Now here's the tough part for me. Meghan & Puck A.K.A Robbie or Meghan and Prince Winter land guy Ash lol. I thought that both of those two couples were so cute even if neither of them were actually couples. In the beginning I thought Puck & Meghan would be together because you know they were best friends and he was always there, but when Puck and Ash were fighting and Puck asked Meghan for a kiss and she kissed him on the cheek.. I knew right there it was never going to happen. I was a little disappointed but I’m okay because I still like the idea of her and Ash being a couple. Even if he wants to kill her lol. My favorite part between her and Ash was when they were resting in the um tube I think it was because Ash was like dying from the metal and then because the rain was ACID?! but yeah that was my favorite part because they hugged and had there arms around each other and had there little heart to heart <3 It was sweet and I loved it.

I'm not sure what I think about the ending yet and I really can't say much because you know it'd be the biggest spoiler of them all! But Meghan still has to hold up her end of the bargain which means she's supposed to let Ash bring her to a certain place! I figured by the end Ash would be madly in love with her and wouldn't turn her over but who knows what's going to happen! My final thoughts are I hope Puck is okay since the last I heard he was sleeping in the tree! He's one of my favorite characters and I would die if he's only going to be in book one. Also my last thought Ash and Meghan better be a serious couple by the end of the second book lol. Thanks to anyone who reads the review and leave comments below! Please and Thank You!

Review True Grime By: Natasha Deen

True GrimeTrue Grime by Natasha Deen

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So this is fantasy book about faeries and all kinds of magical creatures. Usually I don't read those kind of books but at the moment I’m actually reading two. Well technically one because I just finished this one, but it's this one and The Iron King By: Julie Kagawa and I absolutely love it but that is not what this review is about! This review is about the fantabulous book True Grime By: Natasha Deen!

Like I said I didn't know if I was going to like it and the first couple chapters were a bit slow but I think it's because I was reading with a bunch of people around and talking. When I started reading by myself in a quiet place it started getting way better so that’s my theory and I’m keeping it that way. The book was about a Faeries or should I say creature world police force that was trying to recapture a villain who escaped from jail, and they had to go to the human world and be basically apart of the human world to do it. Like they had to go to school make friends things like that. My favorite part about them going to school was how many detentions she got. I loved the way she talked to the teachers and stuff like that. While I was reading I wished I could stand up to teachers like that but I know it would be wrong and disrespectful but I got a kick out of watching well not watching um reading pepper do it.

Now my favorite character's are Pepper and Harley. Yeah, yeah I know those are going to be everybody's favorites but I really like them for many different reasons. I like Pepper because she's strong, I mean come on now if a cop lost their leg? They would be out of work for a lot longer than a couple days am I right? and another reason is because I love how she's so loyal to everybody especially Harley. Usually cops don't get along with their partners and think there annoying but Pepper and Harley? They have a real connection if there's another book in the future I would so suggest there to be a think between the two of them. They would be my favorite couple!! Now on to Harley I love him because he's one of the good guys and I mean good guys with people and relationship wise. When Pepper did things wrong did he freak out yell at her and stop talking to her for awhile? Nope he told her what he thought then said "I'm not mad at you" when he said that I died I don’t know why but I loved it! Also when he was with the Champagne girl I thought oh man he's going to start being a guy and be all over her but he wasn't he was very professional and he stood up for his "little sister" Which I loved!

Overall the book was freaking fantastic and I recommend it to anyone who likes the kind of fantasy stuff, and I recommend it to anyone who doesn't like that too because I didn't like the fantasy stuff until I read this book and now I’m going to start reading more fantasy because this book totally changed my mind! I hope you enjoy my review leave comments below!

 GoodReads Description:

What's a girl to do when meeting The One means she's cursed to die a horrible death?

Life hasn't been easy on sixteen-year-old Emma Connor, so a new start in New York may be just the change she needs. But the posh Upper East Side prep school she has to attend? Not so much. Friendly faces are few and far between, except for one that she's irresistibly drawn to—Brendan Salinger, the guy with the rock-star good looks and the richest kid in school, who might just be her very own white knight.
But even when Brendan inexplicably turns cold, Emma can't stop staring. Ever since she laid eyes on him, strange things have been happening. Streetlamps go out wherever she walks, and Emma's been having the oddest dreams: visions of herself in past lives—visions that warn her to stay away from Brendan. Or else.

The reason I want this book is because for one it has an awesome awesome cover! and because i read the description and it sounds really amazing i can't wait to read it!! I hope you enjoy this leave comments and links to your own WoW down below thanks!

Review Diary of a Short Life By: Micheal R. Krozer

Diary of a Short LifeDiary of a Short Life by Michael R. Krozer

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

**Spoiler Alert** So I won this book on the awesome site Goodreads!! and I’d never heard of it before I entered to win in but it sounded like a good book, so I was excited to read it when I got it. At first I was a bit confused about the whole concept of the book like I didn't get what was going on in the first to chapters. But now that I think about it that's probably what the author wanted to happen. As I got farther into the book I started liking looking into her memories, even though they were basically only old memories. I thought it was going to be the kind of book where in the end she get's her memory back and then she goes home and gets together with her family. But then I remembered what the title was "A Diary of a Short Life" I didn't think she was going to die but when I read the epilogue I guess she did you'll have to read it to find out exactly what the epilogue said.

Overall I thought the book was awesome it was interesting. I liked finding out what happened in her past. Now that im finished though I’m really eager to actually find out what her life was like before. I have a feeling that she worked with a group of people and for a living she had to take drugs to make it look like she was dead and then she would come out if it and the only reason why I think that is because in the book when she was let out of the hospital the guy that gave her the envelope said things went wrong and you don't remember me. So I figure that whatever she took when she ended up in the marsh really washed out her brain good that time because she didn't remember a thing. Which for me would be really scary if I woke up naked in the middle of nowhere not remember what my name is or what my previous life was like. I wonder how she died in the end. The title of the book kind of makes it seem like a suicide but I don’t feel like it was just because in the book after she got out of the hospital she seemed relatively happy. But maybe something happened when she left France. Who knows..

Review Frostbite (Vampire Academy #2) By: Richelle Mead

Frostbite (Vampire Academy, #2)Frostbite by Richelle Mead

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

** spoiler alert ** OMG! I absolutely loved this book!!! As you all know I tried to start the Vampire Academy series in eighth grade and it just didn't stick to me but I started it again over the summer and I’ve been addicted ever since!! I just finished this one and in the beginning I had so many emotions like are Rose and Dimitri going to be together. Are Mia and Rose and Lissa going to fight again? How are Lissa and Christian doing? and I love it because everyone of my questions were answered well somewhat anyway! I loved the ending Dimitri ended up turning this Tasha chick down which im so so happy about I would have just died if he went with her. It would have absolutely killed me. Plus I loved how in the end Dimitri was like you know? We aren't Lissa's guardians yet. Oh man that made my heart skip a beat! Then my other questions the Mia things I really felt bad for her when I found out her mother was killed even if I did hate her I agree with Rose I wouldn’t wish something like that on my worst enemy. I'm glad that they're kind of sort of friends now it's really good. Then my last question how are Christian and Lissa doing? There such a cute couple but again if I was Rose I probably would be a bit jealous too. I mean I’d be totally happy for them but Lissa kind of just cuts Rose off with him now and it kind of annoys me but oh well. My favorite part of the book would be well actually this would be my second favorite because my first was what happened with Dimitri and Rose at the end. My second is when Rose saved the day and killed the two Strigoi it was freaking amazing I loved it!! Out of her group of friends I think only her would of been able to watch someone she really cared for die then cut to heads off! How insane was that!!!! Anyways about Mason.. I cried when he died I loved his character not as much as I love Dimitri of course but Mason was right up there with him and I was sad to see him go.. The last thing that I almost forgot about was Rose's mother! The relationship between these two drove me mad, because if I was Rose in the beginning I would just flat out ignore her I would hate my mom if she just sent me off to some academy and didn't ever see me or call me or anything like that, but by the end I started understanding why she had to do that a little bit better but I still under no circumstances did not like it one bit!!! I hope you enjoy the review and watched out for spoilers sorry I’m really bad with that! Leave comments below!!

Review Delirium By: Lauren Oliver

Delirium (Delirium, #1)Delirium by Lauren Oliver

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wow... I don't know what I can say about this book. I mean I love the whole concept that nobody's aloud to fall in love you because it's a disease and it'll kill you. That part was really interesting. But the ending to this book.. I absolutely hated it!! I love everything else in the book the characters and all that but the ending just made me so depressed it's not even funny. I thought Lena & Alex would make it and they'd be in the wilds together and the next book would be about them facing challenges in the wild, but I guess I was very wrong because Lena made it to the wilds but Alex didn't. Now I would be all about going to the wilds if I had my special someone with me but since they're so in love and she’s now without him, personally I would go back and get the procedure done because now she's just going to hurt anyway because Alex didn't make it. Now I don’t know if Alex is dead or not because it didn't really clarify that but it made it seem like he was going to die because it said about how his whole chest was bloody so I figured that the wound was on the chest but I could be wrong. Anyways if Alex lives I don't want her to go back and have the surgery because they still have a chance of being together, but I’m just so confused because he promised! that he was going to be right behind her so does he plan on beating his way out of all the cops or does he plan on escaping wherever they put him? Who knows I just hope that him and Lena end up together because you could tell that they really loved each other!!
