The idea for this book:
I was really thinking one day about the hardships that teens and college students face without anyone knowing what’s really going on inside them. I have watched the waves of emotions crash around in older teens and I have seen friends in their twenties fall apart because of horrific emotional pain. But what if you never had to experience that in your own life? Would you understand what it felt like?
People say all the time their glad I didn’t sugarcoat anything in this story. They’re glad to see the real problems that Victoria faces.Readers say it’s hard to get through, and I can appreciate that. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy to write either. I shed probably more tears writing it then you did reading it. Just one of those books that really sink into your skin.
What other books have really made you feel?
