Anyone who knows what these posts are know that I am obviously a little behind considering that it is day 3 but I noticed a few blogs participating so I decided to do so as well!
The Book Blogger New Year's Challenge was created by Rachel over at Parajunkee as you can see from the banner above. So go and check her out. But I also want to give a shout out to the blog were I found this first and that is Giselles, Bo-ok Nerd, which is also an amazing blog so be sure to check her out as well.
DAY 1- Blogger Resolutions
1. Put Together More Original Posts
My first resolution is not stolen from Giselle (promise) because I really do need more original posts! Lately my posts have just been posting reviews, and blog tours/book blitzs and things like that. Nothing has really been things that I have thought of on my own. So this year I am going to try and put together a bunch of my own original posts!
2. Post Regularly
This is something that was not a really big problem until I started my new job and my senior year. Up until then I had always had posts up 6 or sometimes 7 days a week. But when I started getting busier those posts started getting less and less frequent. This shouldn't really be that much of a challenge because blogger does have the option to schedule posts it is just a matter of getting it to work!
3. Put Comfort Books Out There
I have been blogging for a little over 4 years and I only have 364 followers which is pretty bad for how long I have been blogging. I've been trying to get the blog more publicity with the blog tours and things like that and I get a lot of page-views but not that many stay long enough to follow which is sad, but I am hoping to fix that this year. Feel free to leave suggestions on how to get more followers below :)
Those are all of my resolutions for this year considering I am entirely too busy to take on anything other than the three I have already established! So thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to leave links to your posts and any suggestions in the comments!
P.S. Here is the schedule!
I need to work on getting people to stick around my blog for more then a few seconds too. I think your goal for original posts will help.
