Synopsis: One bad boy. One good girl. One unforgettable week.

Angelle Prejean is in a pickle. Her family is expecting her to come home with a fiancé—a fiancé who doesn’t exist. Well, he exists, but he definitely has no idea Angelle told her mama they were engaged. Tattooed, muscled, and hotter than sin, Cane can reduce Angelle to a hot mess with one look—and leave her heart a mess if she falls for him. But when she ends up winning him at a charity bachelor auction, she knows just how to solve her fiancé problem.

Cane Robicheaux is no one’s prince. He doesn’t do relationships and he doesn’t fall in love. When sweet, sultry-voiced Angelle propositions him, he hopes their little fiancé game can finally get her out of his head. He doesn’t expect her to break through all his barriers. But even as Angelle burrows deeper into his heart, he knows once their seven days are up, so is their ruse.

My Review:
I received Seven Day Fiance by Rachel Harris from the publisher and this is my honest review.

There was no hesitation when accepting this book for review considering I read the companion novel, Taste The Heat and absolutely loved it. This novel is Cane Robicheaux’s story and that is the most exciting part of all. We meet Cane in the first book and he comes off as the protective older brother which is sweet.

The little glimpse of Cane we get in book is not enough, which is why him getting his own story was an amazing idea. It was great getting to know bad boy Cane a little better I fell in love with him more than I fell in love with Jason in the first book. Moving on to the other main character, Angel. I cannot remember off the top of my head if we met Angel in the first book, but either way she was the sweetest character. She had an absolute heart of gold, and it was awful every time she was hurting because I felt the pain right along with her.

The concept of the novel was a little strange, I mean Angel took Cane back to her hometown and pretended he was her fiance just to make her family feel like she was happy and doing well where she was. In the beginning, I was not sure how I felt about that but as I got farther into the book I realized how cute and cozy they were getting together and I loved it.

There were a few moments in the book were I was so mad at Cane because he was really screwing up, but he fixed all the messes he made so it ended up being okay in the end. Overall this book gets a solid 5 out of 5 stars, Rachel’s writing just keeps getting better and better.

  1. Hi Paige! I came across your blog through goodreads, so I figured to stop by and say hello! WOW, you are 17 years old and your blog is this cool??? You go, girl! Your blog is very easy on the eye and easy to navigate, so kudos to you for such a nice theme and layout!

Anyway, I am also a blogger and I read romance of any kind (Adult and YA). Recently I've been reading and promoting a lot of adult romance. I feel like I've been neglecting YA lit. I really need to rectify that!

Seven Day Fiance sounds like a cute story. Cane sounds like a sexy bad boy (I have a weakness for bad boys!). I think I'll have to give this book a shot, maybe this summer when I have more time. Awesome review!

Feel free to stop by my blog sometime. I am now following your blog. Always looking for new blog followers and blogger buddies to chat with. Feel free to "like" my facebook page. If you have one, let me know and I will "like" you back in return!

    Best Wishes,
