I'm wicked excited about today's post because it is a cover reveal for Abbi Glines' new book and I've heard amazing things about her writing all over the place so I'm glad to be apart of the cover reveal today hosted by AToMR Blog Tours for her new book Options. So are you ready for the cover? I think it's really pretty!

Options by Abbi Glines

Two paths.

Two completely different roads.
Each one standing before me.
Each one holding a different destiny.

In life you're just supposed to choose one path.
In life you're not given the chance at choosing one specific future.

Until now.
Until me.

Why am I different? I don't know. But I'm going to see those roads and walk down each one. When it's over I'll know which one to choose because I'll know my - options.

Don't you guys love the cover?! I think it's gorgeous and the book sounds so good too! If you want to get in touch with Abbi check out a few places you can find her below!

Tell me what you think about the cover in the comments!!

Waiting On Wednesday

Hey guys! It's time for another Waiting On Wednesday! hosted by Breaking The Spine where we show you the books we are anxiously awaiting! Anyway here are a few that I'm waiting for!

Hidden by P.C. + Kristin Cast
The House of Night series is an international phenomenon, reaching #1 on U.S., German, and UK bestseller lists, and remaining a fixture on theNew York Times Children’s Series bestseller list for more than 140 weeks and counting. With nearly 12 million copies in print, rights sold in thirty-eight countries to date, and relatable, addictive characters, this series is unstoppable. Now in Hidden, the tenth installment of the series, the stakes are higher than ever before.

Neferet’s true nature has been revealed to the Vampyre High Council, so Zoey and the gang might finally get some help in defending themselves and their beloved school against a gathering evil that grows stronger every day. And they’ll need it, because Neferet’s not going down without a fight. Chaos reigns at the House of Night

I can't wait for this one because I absolutely love the series! and because I love all the covers. I can't quite read this one yet because I have to read the last one but I still can't wait for it!

Light by Michael Grant
It’s been more than a year since every person over the age of fourteen disappeared from the town of Perdido Beach, California. In that time, countless battles have been fought: Battles against hunger and lies and plagues and worse, battles of good against evil, and kid against kid. Allegiances have been won, lost, betrayed, and won again; ideologies have been shattered and created anew, and the kids of the FAYZ have begun to believe that their new society is the only life they’ll ever know. But now that the Darkness has found a way to be reborn, the tenuous existence they‘ve established is likely to be shattered for good. Will the kids of Perdido Beach even survive?

Light, the sixth and final book in the New York Times bestselling Gone series (which has spanned more than 3,000 pages!) asks as many profound and provocative questions as it answers, while bestselling mastermind and author Michael Grant creates an unforgettable, arresting conclusion that readers won’t able to stop talking about.

I can't wait for this one again because I LOVE the cover! But I'm even further behind in this series because I need to read the last two books that are out before I can read this one =) If you guys do a WoW post leave me a link in the comments and I'll definitely check it out!

The Unloved by Jennifer Snyder

Sometimes the love our heart needs to heal can be found in the familiar eyes of a childhood friend...

Julie Porter learned the hard way that trust is something which must be earned and not something to be given out lightly, those who say they love you are those who hold the power to hurt you most, and best friends can help you survive anything—until they move away.

Nick Owen knows a thing or two about a hard life. At a young age Nick learned how to take a hit and to make lemonade out of the lemons life tossed his way. Returning home after nearly two years of being away, all Nick cares about now is protecting his mom from the abusive hands of his father and catching up with his best friend—the girl who lived across the street, the girl he can’t seem to stop thinking about.

Finally reunited after two years apart, Nick and Julie are about to learn that age does nothing to protect you from life’s trials and tribulations, heartache and loss, but maybe together they’ll find a

way to survive.

Fall For You Tour: Dream Cast

Hello hello! Sorry that this post is going up a little late. I've been having some problems with my email lately so hopefully things will get better from here. Today I am apart of the Fall For You by Cecilia Gray tour hosted by AToMR Blog Tours! and today I have a Dream cast for you guys =) First heres a little about the book.

Fall For You by Cecilia Gray
Jane Austen meets Pretty Little Liars in this fresh, new young-adult series!

* * *
The last thing that the girls at the elite Jane Austen Academy need is hot guys to flirt with. Please. They need to stay focused on something that lasts much longer: an acceptance letter from an Ivy.
But over the summer the school has been sold, and like it or not, the guys are coming. And it's about to turn the Academy--and the lives of its students--totally upside down...
* * *
To say Lizzie and Dante are polar opposites is the understatement of the century. He's a snooty Exeter transfer with more money than Google. She's a driven study-a-holic barely keeping up with tuition. It's obvious that Dante thinks he's way too good for Lizzie. And Lizzie knows Dante is a snob with a gift for pushing her buttons.
But things are changing fast this year at the Academy. And when Lizzie's quest to stop those changes blows up in her face, taking her oldest friendship with it, she has nowhere else to turn but to Dante, with his killer blue eyes, his crazy-sexy smile, and his secrets... Secrets Lizzie can't seem to leave alone, no matter how hard she tries...
FALL FOR YOU Dream Cast Post
I had a series trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YL36WerF1y0) made for The Jane Austen Academy series, and with the exception of Kat not being redheaded enough, each of the actors nails the character. I don’t think I’d trade a single one of them, but if I had to cast Hollywood heavyweights, it would have gone down like this:
Lizzie: Hailee Steinfeld. Brains, beauty and leadership plus conveniently brunette and brown-eyed.

Dante: Wealthy misunderstood artistocrat with a heart of gold? It’s Chris Borchu for the win!

Ellie: Cody Horn kills the surfer girl vibe. She seems like she was born on a beach.

Edward: The adorable guy next door who gets compared to a puppy dog? Noah Centinoe – you don’t know whether you want to date this guy or feed and clothe him.

There are tons of other characters to cast – including:
Anne, the beautiful, reserved socialite nursing heartbreak when her ex-boyfriend is back to haunt her
Kat, the redheaded drama queen who gets the spotlight she wants – and isn’t sure how to handle it
Emma, the Manhattan fashionite who is right about everything…until she isn’t
I could go on and on but I rather you did. If there’s an actor out there who reminds you of a Jane Austen Academy character, or even the original Jane Austen character, let me know. I love stealing inspiration from other people.

Hope you guys enjoyed the dream cast! I thought it was pretty interesting. Check out the rest of the tour here!

Glass by Ellen Hopkins

Publication Date: August 21, 2007
Number of Pages: 681
Book Format: Paperback (Bought at Barnes & Noble)
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow everyone loves Ellen Hopkins books because they’re in verse. Which means quick and easy, but do you want to know why I love them? Because there always extremely intense and those are my favorite books to read. So intense that you have to keep turning pages, like if you stop you’ll miss the story too much that’s what these books are too me! I bought this book on my own and am choosing to review it on my own also. In this book we catch up with our main character Kristina, who has recently had a baby and is clean. But not for long.. She can feel the monster calling to her she wants to get high again.

Through out the book I went back and forth between feeling sorry for Kristina and thinking that she’s a complete and utter idiot. In the end though I knew what my feelings were and they will stay that way until I read the third and final book! As we all know Kristina is a teen mother addicted to meth. The reasons I felt sorry for her is because she needed help and she just couldn’t get it. Yes her mother offered to help her but she didn’t do a good enough job of offering it. She told her if you need help I’ll give it to you but then she kicked her out. I mean I get it she shouldn’t need more then that but she’s a young mother addicted to drugs she needed more then that.

On the other hand I know she was so stupid. I mean she was clean she should have kept her job at seven eleven and stayed clean so she could be a mom to her baby and finish high school. But did she do that? Nope she went ahead and got back on drugs. For awhile she at least got to stay at home but her mom saw how bad she was getting and finally kicked her out. Now that should have gotten to her too but instead she went and stayed with her drug dealer who was also her boyfriends cousin and basically sort of whored around!

Anyways I hope that in this third book Kristina cleans herself up and takes care of her BABY! Oh I so wish I could spoil the ending of this book but I can’t so if anyone’s read this book come talk to me! I enjoyed some of the other characters like Kristina’s alter ego Bree. My favorite part was when she was mouthing off to her sisters girlfriend oh man it was hilarious. Also I really liked Trey because although he was a drug addict as well as her he was still in school for the majority of time and he truly loved Kristina and I loved that. In the beginning I thought he was going to be another Brendan if you know what I mean but he wasn’t and I’m so glad.

In the end I give it a 5 out of 5 stars because again I love how intense Ellen keeps her books. I could not stop turning these pages until I physically couldn’t anymore!

Blood Jewel Tour: Guest Post

Hola peoples! Sorry that this post is a day late we had a little email trouble but hopefully that is all fixed now! Today I have for you a guest post by Georgia Cates. The Blood Jewel Tour is hosted by These Paper Worlds so make sure you go check out the blog and sign up for tours because it's an awesome blog! and it's run by awesome people =)

10 Things No One Knows About Blood Jewel by Georgia Cates

1. Blood Jewel is written from a male vampire's POV, which is quite different from the ordinary human female love interest's POV.

2. The enitre "scene" of Marsala reaching Curry through Black Magic in Club infinity was inspired by the song "Sleep Alone" by Bat for Lashes

3. Chansey's striptease scene ewas inspired by "Nasty Naughty Boy" by Christina

4. Chapter 3 "Seekers, Swan and Dolls" opens up a whole new plot for Book 3, "Blood Doll"

5. Solomon's character stepped up to the plate in "Blood Jewel" because we will be seeing him a lot in the future.

6. Although a Blood Jewel was discovered in Book 2, the explanation behind it wont be revealed until book 3, "Blood Doll" because of spoilers.

7. The setting in Pascagoula is a place I freguently vacation to visit my favorite aunt.

8. I have been to all of the settings in "Blood Jewel" with the expectation of Savannah. I wanted to make a quick trip over so I could get a feel for it, but couldn't find the time. That's why there is little to no description about Savannah aside from being inside the

9. Very little in "Blood Jewel" is random. Most everything has a reason for being included and you might not realize that until you read "Blood Doll."

10. Chansey's grandmother plays a bigger role in this plot than the reader knows and the reader may be shocked to find out what Granna has been up to.

I hope you guys enjoyed this guest post. I think the idea of finding out 10 things nobody knows about the book is a really fun idea and I hope to do more of these posts in the future! Thanks for stopping by =)

Early Review: Ask The Passengers by A.S. King

Ask The Passengers by A.S. King
Publisher: Little Brown (BFYR)
Publication Date: October 23, 2012
Number of Pages: 296
Book Format: ARC (Around The World ARC Tours)
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book! I’m so glad I signed up for this ARC Tour. Have you guys ever read a book based on basically lesbians and gays? Well I haven’t until now and I’m so freaking glad that I did. A.S. King did an awesome job telling us Astrid Jones’ story. If you read the back of the book it says nothing about being gay but that is the whole plot of the book so you think it would. In Ask The Passengers we follow our main character Astrid on her journey to find out if she is in fact gay.

I haven’t really talked about this issue before because well this is a book blog and I wouldn’t normally talk about it unless I read a book about it, and now I’ve read a book about it so I’m going to say a few things. I am totally pro gay marriage I’m not saying that I’ll hate you if I you disagree or that I’m gay but I’m just saying. I loved this book for those reasons

Astrid has a weird life. She lives at home with her stoner dad her bitch of a mom and her suck up little sister. Before I go any further just let me say that I hated her mom and sister through out the whole book they were so mean to her and I just didn’t understand why! Her dad on the other hand is completely different he is the only one in the house that talks to her the only one that likes her basically and that makes me feel so bad. I mean her mom and her sister go on these “Mommy and Me” nights all the time and Astrid Is never invited nor does she ever get to spend alone time with her mom alone. I mean really? She seemed like a sweet quiet girl why did she deserve that treatment from her own family?

Other then the family issues I loved a bunch of things about this book. This is a kind of book that hits home with the gay issue. Nobody should feel like they can’t be themselves, like they can’t love someone that they love, and that is what this book is all about. Astrid falls in love with a girl named Dee and from then on she’s scared and confused and she doesn’t know what she’s going to do. She did have some support because her two friends Kristina & Justin were actually gay themselves but they were keeping it a secret for reputation. Astrid kept it a secret because she didn’t want to deal with how her family would react.

Overall I give this book a 10 out of 5 stars because like I said it really hit home. Anybody that is against gay people or just gay marriage should read it because it might change their thinking. Even people who aren’t against it should read this because they’ll feel like they want to fight for these rights even more then before if you know what I mean.

What's Next? (3)

Hello again! I'm back participating in What's Next hosted by IceyBooks. The reason being is because my whole TBR got thrown around this week so I'm completely starting over and I need your help to figure out what I should read next! So here are your choices =) To find out what the books about click on the title and it will take you to it's goodreads page.

Well that's everything so let me know what I should read next in the comments!

Early Review: Eve & Adam by Michael Grant & Katherine Applegate

Eve and Adam by Katherine Applegate
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Publication Date: October 2, 2012
Number of Pages: 304
Book Format: ARC (Around The World ARC Tours)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eve & Adam started off with a bang let me just say that! In the first what? 2 chapters our main character gets hit by a car which causes her to lose her leg and really mess up her hand. Crazy right? That's one of the things I loved about this book. This book is about our main character Eve having to deal with being hit by a car and trying to heal in her mothers "hospital". While she's in this hospital she starts to unravel secrets about her mothers business that she never knew before. I can't tell you those secrets but definitely read the book to find out what those secrets are.

Like I said I enjoyed this book but a few parts did kind of annoy me like it seemed like the whole secret business thing seemed to be drawn out jus a tad to much. Like I thought there would be more that not just that one storyline. Also the title of the book is Eve & Adam but there was barley any Adam. Each chapter was from a different POV it switched back and forth between Eve & Solo and finally Adams chapters came in at the very end of the book and like i said more of Adam would have been better and if you want to know why read the book!

We met a bunch of different characters starting with Eve she's a smart girl because she knows her mother isn't exactly a good person when a lot of other people are tricked by her I guess you could say. We also meet Eve's best friend Aislin who I liked just because she seemed to be the sort of stupid slitting best friend that a lot of books have and I liked that because it makes the main character look even better. Our last big character is Solo who is basically Eve's mothers property because his parents are dead and her name was on their will to care for him. But the weird thing is that of her 16 or 17 years she never knew of Solo before.

The reason why I picked this book up is because I was told that the main character would be making her own boy and I thought what?! I so have to read that. Imagine being able to create your own person I'm not sure I would want to because it seems like it'd be hard work but I'd give it a try if I had to! Overall I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars because even though some things annoyed me I still enjoyed it!

Once Upon a Read-a-Thon Wrap Up

The Read-a-Thon is over! I know it's sad because I liked having the pressure of wanting to finish books for it! Even though at the end I kind of got thrown in a reading slump I still did pretty good and got 50% of my goal done! For those of you who can't watch the video her is the wrap up! Thanks so much to Angela, Candace & Lori for creating this Read-a-Thon! I can't wait to participate in this challenge again next year!

The Keeper by Natalie Star

The Keeper by Natalie Star
Publisher: Decadent Publishing
Publication Date: January 6, 2012
Number of Pages: 224
Book Format: e-book (Review Copy)
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well I finally finished this one and I must say I really really enjoyed it! Natalie Star did an awesome job keeping us turning pages because there was basically a new twist almost every chapter! In The Keeper our main character Billie wakes up on her 16th birthday with the same nightmare she has on the same day every year. But what she doesn't know is that every things about to change. That morning her mother gives her a special necklace and she sort of doesn't like it at first but little did she know it's probably the thing that will safe her life!

Like I said I really enjoyed this book but there were some things that sort of annoyed me. For instance the book starts on her 16th birthday and ends on like her third year in college. Weird right? I don't think the time needed to be stretched out that far but I'm glad the author didn't put boring stuff in the gaps she kept me very Well entertained.

One of the other things that was hard was the nasty love triangle! Usually I can handle them but this one was extra hard because her lovers were in the same body. Hold on! let me explain her protector Tyler was using someone else's body and he can come and go as he pleases. So while he was in Tyler's body he fell for her but then when he left she fell for the person he left behind who is also tyler. I know hard to understand it was crazy at first for me too. But the ending turned out good and I'm glad.

I sort of wish I knew more background about what exactly Billie was like she has these powers and she's called "The Keeper" but what is she the keeper of? Hopefully we'll find out more if theres a second book but I'm not sure if there will be one because the ending was more of a standalone ending!

I'm really glad I finally picked up The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight because it was such a touching story, and I loved it! Jennifer E. Smith did an amazing job keeping everything interesting. Like I was a little afraid that Hadley & Oliver's trip on the plane would be long and boring but it wasn't at all! i enjoyed there conversations about basically nothing it was so cute and you could see that they were falling for each other! In this little story our main character Hadley has to fly to London to attend her fathers wedding to a stepmother who she's never met. You think that would be the big plot in the story but it's definitely not. She misses her flight and at the time it might seem like the worst thing in the world but really it's probably the best thing thats ever happened to her! Reason being because she meets Oliver and guess what? They fall in love!

I really enjoyed Hadley's character for a few different reasons. She's a really relatable character because like 75% of teenagers are dealing with one of their parents getting remarried, and this is a book for teenagers so about half of them will be able to relate to Hadley. I really felt for Hadley throughout the whole book when she was hating on her dad I was hating on her dad and when she was falling for Oliver I was falling for Oliver too!

I've never read a book quite like this before. Obviously I've read a love story before but i'm taking about falling in love in an airport! Never read anything like it and I'm really excited that I picked it up because I loved it. Sorry I'm pretty sure I'm repeating things now. Anyways let's talk more about the characters. Oliver was a british student which I loved. While reading the book I almost wish I had a british person with me to read his voice bemuses at the time I was reading I could picture his accent at all I wish I could have though because it would have made me fall for him more. I love accents!!

What did you guys think about Hadley's father? At first I hated him! I mean come on you claim to love your daughter but yet you move to London while she still lives in the states I mean come on! I understand you fell and love yada yada yada but you don't just move away randomly like that. He should've came home broke it off with his current wife and stayed around to the divorce was final so Hadley could see him and so she could get used to the idea of him moving! I just all around hated him until the end when things changed. I'm not going to tell you what changed because I don't want to spoil it but I'm glad things happened the way they did.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars because I couldn't stop turning pages. A quote on the back of the book said you'll be wishing to miss your next flight and I have to say I totally am hoping I miss my next flight. I'd love to find love spontaneously like that!
