Forgiven Duke Tour: Music Playlist

Hey peoples! I know this is going up really late but you all know about my email problems. Better late than never right? Anyways this tour is hosted by Bookshelf Confessions Tours make sure you stop by and check it out! Before I share with you the Music Playlist here is a little bit about the book and the author!

The Forgiven Duke by Jamie Carie

Tethered by her impulsive promise to marry Lord

John Lemon - the path of least resistance  -Alexandria

Featherstone sets off toward Iceland in search of her

parents with a leaden heart. A glimpse of her

guardian, the Duke of St. Easton - the path less

traveled by - on Dublin's shore still haunts her.

Will he come after her? Will her drag her back to

London, quelling her mission to rescue her treasure-

seeking parents, or might decide to throw caution to

the wind and choose Foy Pour Devoir: "Faith for

Duty,"the St. Easton motto Valens et Volens: "Willing

and Able," beats in her heart and thrums through her

veins. She will find her parents and find their love, no

matter what cost.

Jamie Carie writes novels about fierce, passionate women; their dreams; their fears; their triumphs. Her deepest desire is to see her readers find that same passion as they follow their destiny and discover deeper intimacy with Jesus.
She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and three sons. Want to get in touch with her? Check out these places!

Music Playlist:

Scarborough Fair by Celtic Chillout Vol. 2 – I listened to this song over and over while writing The Guardian Duke, set in Ireland. It has a very lilting Irish quality that I love.

A Thousand Miles by Christina Perry- Great Touching love scene music

May It Be from The Lord of the Rings – When Alexandria desperately wishes for and misses Gabriel – the loneliness in this song sets that tone so well.

Humility and Love by Christopher Young – Hauntingly beautiful orchestra piece. Any scene demanding intense emotion could be written with this in the background.

The Tree of Life by Alexandre Desplat – Musical score that is more action oriented with great tension underlying the feel of a scene.

Storm by Lifehouse – When Gabriel is being beaten in The Forgiven Duke by the Spanish. He clings to God and the image of Alexandria to get through. This song encapsulates that feeling so well.

Test Drive by John Powell for the soundtrack How to Train Your Dragon – Sweeping, energetic music for action scenes.

A Kings Sadness by William Ross for The Tale of Despereaux – Heart rending with a floating quality for sad scenes.

Ancient China by Randy Edelman from the soundtrack for The Mummy – I listened to this short song over and over for some of the really tough scenes when lots of emotion is called for.

And my all time favorite that I listened to over and over while writing the end of the series in A Duke’s Promise - Adagio for Strings, op.11. Uncut by Samuel Barber. Here it is on YouTube

I know a few of these songs and there pretty good! Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you enjoyed the post =)
